Edit a photo by describing the change

ViviMaker's Image mode edits a photo from a sentence: name what to remove, replace, restore or restyle and the rest of the frame is meant to stay as it was. No selection tools, masks or layers.

Edit a photo

In short

  • Upload one or more JPG, PNG or WebP references in Image mode.
  • Describe the change and what must stay consistent.
  • Use several references to carry a subject, product detail or palette into a new frame.
  • Draft quickly, then finish on a 4K-capable route in the same session.

Four kinds of edit

  • Remove: "Remove the parked bicycle on the left. Keep the street, the light and the people unchanged."
  • Replace: "Replace the grey sky with a soft sunset. Keep the buildings and their reflections."
  • Restore: "Restore this faded photo with natural colour. Keep faces and clothing as they are."
  • Restyle: "Turn this living room into a Scandinavian style. Keep the window, the floor plan and the camera angle."

Carrying a subject across frames

Upload several references and say what should carry over — "the same ceramic mug from these photos, now on a picnic blanket in a park". The result is meant to stay recognisably yours.

Draft, then finish

Use Vivi Draft for fast concepts, Vivi Studio 4 for everyday creation and editing, and Vivi Precision for final assets and text-heavy compositions. Your prompt, references and history stay in place when you switch.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to draw a mask?

No. Describe the change in words; Image mode handles the rest.

Can I turn the edited still into a video?

Yes. Continue into text, image or reference-to-video in the same workspace and account.

Can I use results commercially?

You retain the rights granted by the selected model provider and your plan terms.
